It’s been a while since my last fashion post, probably because I’ve spent more time with my head in a book than scouring through ASOS recently. I’ve also been feeling slightly uninspired by what’s on the high street this season and I can never find anything in the summer sales.
The changeable weather hasn’t helped either as, one minute it’s warm enough to get the legs out then the next minute the tights are on again, so it hardly seems worth investing in summer pieces I won’t be able to wear.
Autumn is my favourite season for fashion and now it’s approaching I’ve spotted so many things I like! It didn’t take long before I fell in love with this jacket of dreams in H&M. Suede look in tan with a relaxed fit and chunky gold zips, I’m sure it will become a wardrobe staple for late summer and autumn.
On the way home after exploring the Wiltshire countryside on Sunday, I couldn’t resist stopping to photograph it in a golden field of wheat. Sorry for the slight overload of images but the jacket was in its element in the summer evening sunshine so I thought I’d let it speak for itself.
Simply styled with burgundy high-waisted shorts and a white peasant blouse, the jacket is really versatile and I’m looking forward to wearing it in a number of different ways this autumn.
