Summer is finally in the air! Well it was, but I’m deciding to ignore the fact that it’s still really quite chilly and start optimistically stocking up on pieces for my summer wardrobe.
On Friday I spotted this lovely tea dress in a Jack Wills outlet store and seeing as it was £24 down from £80, I couldn’t resist. Who doesn’t love a good bargain?!
Most of the time I simply feel like wearing jeans and a shirt but sometimes it’s nice to wear something pretty and feminine, which is exactly what this dress makes me feel.
Vintage style, in a floaty, flattering cut, it’s perfect for wearing to summer picnics and garden parties. Tea dresses are a classic shape and worth investing in as you can rely on them to never go out of fashion.
I love the William Morris-esque peacock print and it blended perfectly with the carpet of bluebells that have sprouted up in the woodland near home.
S’cuse the pale pins, this was one of their first outings of the season and as you can see, they need to see some more sun!
I have a feeling it might be a while until it’s warm enough to bring this dress out again but when it is, I’m sure it will soon become one of my favourite summer dresses.
