Just a quick outfit post from the weekend today. After my last style post, Summer Stripes, I decided to practice what I preach and dug this dress out from the back of my wardrobe for a navy and white, nautical inspired look.
I bought this dress from Zara around this time last year after an interview in Covent Garden and it soon became a late summer/early autumn staple.
It’s relaxed fit and t-shirt cut makes it a ready-made weekend outfit so it was a no-brainer when I was deciding what to wear on Sunday. This weekend I went to stay with Chloe in Richmond and, after a busy Saturday seeing friends around London in the sweltering heat, I had a very lazy Sunday.
In the morning Chloe, Ben and I went for a yummy brunch at By The Bridge by Richmond bridge, funnily enough. It then began to pour down so we spent the rainy afternoon at the cinema watching Inside Out, which was far more moving than I thought it was going to be! When we came out of the cinema the weather had cleared up so I took the opportunity to capture this outfit of the day in the sunny suburbs.
