I’ve officially entered the real world! It all happened very quickly and I’ve already been living and working in London for three weeks.
It was sad to say goodbye to Somerset and move to the big smoke but I’ll be going home frequently to get my country-side fix. Also, moving to London has meant that I haven’t been able to post regularly, and won’t be able to for a while, as I don’t have a camera. I was using my parents’ camera so my posts will have to coincide with seeing them until I can save up to buy my own. Until then, bear with, and I’ll try and update you on my journey into the real world as often as possible.
The photo above is from my graduation this summer. It was the perfect day. After my ceremony and all the official bits in Durham Cathedral, I went for afternoon tea with my family at the idyllic Crook Hall and Gardens. We were sat in the midst of an english country garden, surrounded by flowers, eating cake and drinking champagne – I felt like Alice in Wonderland! If that wasn’t enough, there was even a cat that I made friends with/bribed with prawns, which, as you can see, I got far too excited about! It was a great end to my time at university and now I’m excited about starting the next chapter.
